A short time ago I used George Burn’s phrase to describe life with COPD and I am here to tell you that Arthritis has had me at my wit’s end more than COPD.

With COPD I was given a road map by my doctor when he assigned me to look at the COPD Foundations web page.  I will admit that prior to my encounter with the COPD360social site I was not a fan of support groups.  I had joined one for another chronic condition that I have and found that they offered very little help and a lot of complaining.  I began to find myself becoming negative and determined that the best thing for me to do was to leave the group.  I learned all that I could about the disease and charted a course to live the best life that I could with the condition.

COPD is so complex that I am sure that I would have fumbled my way into oblivion without the COPD Foundation.  I have not been able to find a positive, useful, and knowledgeable group to join for Arthritis.  I hope that there is one and maybe someone can point me to them.
